RS WEB HALL OF FAME - PAGE 2
      ALTA VISTA Translator
The Roller Sports Web Hall of Fame was created in August of 2000 to honor those people, RS Web members or not, who perform some outstanding service to the RS Web and/or the World's Roller Skaters.   Entrance to the Hall of Fame is in recognition of an action, above and beyond the normal, performed out of Love of the sport, and/or to the benefit of U.S. and/or International roller skating.
The number of new members per year is limited
Candidates may be from any branch of the sport.   It is not neccessary to be an active skater to be nominated to the Hall of Fame.   Consideration for induction is accomplished by email to the Webmaster of the RSWEB, nominating the candidate for H.O.F. Membership.   All nominations must be from people who are Members of the RS Web.
When we receive such nominations, the selection committee will meet to review the achievement(s) of the Nominee, and will vote to accept or reject the nomination as soon as possible.
THE HALL OF FAME MEMBERHIPS WILL ENCOMPASS THE WORLD, AND IS NOT LIMITED TO THE USA, NOR IS IT LIMITED TO ANY PARTICULAR BRANCH OF THE SPORT.

Theresa Hadley, Space Coast Skating Club, Melbourne, FL.

Theresa took the only pictures of the Junior Olympic Artistic Nationals that appeared on the Photo Tour of Nationals site on the RS Web.

Theresa sent pictures of the Standard Nationals in addition to those we received from Robert Taggi.
One picture of note is the 3D Panoramic shot of the interior of the Pershing Auditorium. This picture consists of Three pictures, combined into the one Panoramic picture.   With only the directions I gave her in a quick email, she took the pictures flawlessly, as this Full Width picture of the auditorium shows.

At the end of the Standard National events, we had no one to cover the Junior Olympic events.   Theresa stepped in and provided us with many pictures and comments that covered the Junior Olympics very well.
Her hard work, like Robert Taggi's was a totally volunteer effort, done for the love of the sport and the skaters of the world.
Without her contribution, there would have been NO coverage of the Junior Olympic events at all.

Bill Wolf, Sports Information Director, National USA Roller Sports, Lincoln, NE.
Bill has always held the best interests of the skaters as his primary goal.

He was instrumental in our National USA Roller Skating Association recognizing the efforts of the Roller Sports Web to promote Roller Skating throughout the world.

His efforts resulted in our Map of Regions being accepted into the Main USARS Site as it's Official Map of Regions for the United States.

Most recently, he was instrumental in having all National Results posted on the Official USARS site within a day of the events.

Bill works tirelessly to promote and better our sport.   He is the Sports Information Dirctor for our USARS National Office.   In this capacity, he gathers information and pictures for "Skate" magazine, the official publication of the National USARS.
In addition to this, he also works to improve communications between the FIRS, USOC, IOC and other governing bodies that may have a say in admitting Roller Skating as an Official Olympic Sport, a position it has deserved for years.
He also is working on improving communication between the Skaters and the USARS National Office, witnessed by the creation of the Message Board for all branches of our sport on the National site.

Your email messages are important to him, but please remember, he does get many emails, and if yours is not answered as quickly as you may like, he can only do so much at one time.
